Enlisted on 14 February 1916 at Townsville, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Proserpine, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

8 August 1916 with 9th  Battalion,

19th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on Ship H.M.A.T. A50 "Itonus".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on

8 October 1917 while serving with 9th  Battalion at 3rd  battle of Ypres, Belgium at the age of 22 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Mother, Mrs. F. Aitcheson, Proserpine, QLD.

Religion: Roman Catholic.
