Occupation: Cane Farmer / Labourer.  

Service and Enlistment Details  

Enlisted on 28 November 1914 at Liverpool, NSW.

Address at Enlistment: Owens Creek, Mackay , QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

11 February1915 with 2nd  Battalion,

2nd  Reinforcements at Sydney, NSW on

Ship H.M.A.T. A48 "Seang Bee".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 26 April 1916 while serving with 2nd  Battalion at Ypres, Belgium at the age of 28 years.

Burial place: Rue-Du-Bois Military Cemetery, France, Portion I, Row: E, Grave No: 33.

Next of Kin:  Father, S. Arnold, Owens Creek, Gargett, Mackay, QLD.

Religion: Church of England.  

Notes:

Guy was the elder brother of Rupert John Arnold who was also killed in the War.
