Address at Enlistment: Eton near Mackay, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

16 August 1916 with 47th  Battalion,

4th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on

Ship H.M.A.T. A42 "Boorara".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 7 June 1917 while serving with 47th  Battalion at Messines, Belgium at the age of 25 years.

Burial place or Memorial: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Mother, Mrs. Annie Bagley, Eton near Mackay, QLD.

Religion: Roman Catholic.
