16 May, 1916 with 41st  Battalion, C Company at Sydney, NSW on Ship H.M.A.T. A64 "Demosthenes".

Cause of Death: Died of Wounds on

26 September 1917 while serving with

52nd  Battalion at 17th Casualty Clearing Station, Poperinghe, Belgium at the age of 22 years.

Burial place: Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Poperinge, Belgium, Portion XXV, Row D,

Grave No: 10.
