19 September 1916 with 47th  Battalion,

5th Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on

Ship H.M.A.T. A49 "Seang Choon".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 7 June 1917 while serving with 47th  Battalion at Messines, Belgium at the age of 29 years.

Burial place: No known grave.
