Occupation: Clerk., Accountant

Enlisted on 14 October 1916 at Townsville, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Townsville, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

10 May 1917 with 7th  Machine Gun Company,

11th  Reinforcements at Melbourne, VIC on

Ship H.M.A.T. A46 "Clan McGillivray".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on

3 October 1918 while serving with

2nd  Machine Gun Battalion in France at the age of 24 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Mother, Mrs. Mary Barry, Gurrumbah via Irvinebank, QLD.

Religion: Roman Catholic.

Notes:

At the date of Enlistment his mother Mrs Mary Barry was living at Gargett.
