Father: William BAXTER.

Mother: Mary Ann ALLEN.

Marital Status: Single.

Education: State School, Mackay, QLD.

Occupation: Labourer

Enlisted on 8 July 1915 at Brisbane, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Oakenden via Eton, Mackay, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

5 October 1915 with 11th  Light Horse Regiment, 5th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on

Ship H.M.A.T. A69 "Warilda".

Cause of Death: Died of Wounds on 1 May 1918 while serving with 11th  Light Horse Regiment in Palestine at the age of 28 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Father, William Baxter, Oakenden via Eton, Mackay, QLD.

Religion: Church of England.  

Notes:  Brother of Walter Allen Baxter also died during the Great War.
