Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

17 April 1915 with 6th  Battalion,

5th  Reinforcements at Melbourne, VIC on Ship A20 "Hororata".

Cause of Death: Died of Wounds on

9 August 1915 while serving with 6th  Battalion at Gallipoli, Turkey at the age of 17 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Mother, Mrs. R. Beer, Clutha House, Williamstown Road, Yarraville, VIC.

Religion: Church of England.
