Enlisted on 21 February 1916 at Rockhampton, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Mackay, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

8 August 1916 with 9th  Battalion,

19th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on Ship H.M.A.T. A50 "Itonus".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 30 May 1918 while serving with 9th  Battalion at Borre, near Hazebrouck, France at the age of 29 years.

Burial place: Borre British Cemetery, France, Portion I, Row C, Grave No: 20.

Next of Kin:  Mother, Mrs. M. Beldan, Armthorpe, Savannah, Mackay, QLD.

Religion: Church of England.
