Enlisted on 6 February 1915 at Mackay, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Milburn, Ythan Wells, Scotland.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

26 June 1915 with 25th  Battalion, D Company at Brisbane, QLD on Ship H.M.A.T. A60 "Aenaes".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 29 July 1916 while serving with 25th  Battalion at Pozieres, France at the age of 25 years.

Burial place: Courcelette British Cemetery, France, Portion III, Row A, Grave No. 19.

Next of Kin:  Father, George Bissett, Milburn, Ythan Wells, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Religion: Presbyterian.
