Service and Enlistment Details

Enlisted on 17 August 17 1914 at Helena Vale, WA.

Address at Enlistment: Mackay, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

2 November 1914 with 11th  Battalion, Signallers at Fremantle, WA on Ship H.M.A.T. A11 "Ascanius".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 11 April 1917 while serving with 46th  Battalion at Bullecourt, France at the age of 29 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  F.W. Boddington, Mackay, QLD.

Religion: Church of England.
