2nd  Reinforcements at Sydney, NSW on

Ship SS "Hawkes Bay".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 7 June 1917 while serving with 47th  Battalion at Messines, Belgium at the age of 45 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Parker, High Street, Bittern near Southampton, England.
