Service and Enlistment Details

Enlisted on 14 March 1916 at Rockhampton, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Mackay, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

18 May 1916 with 41st  Battalion, A Company at Sydney, NSW on Ship H.M.A.T. A64 "Demosthenes".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on

5 October 1917 while serving with 41st  Battalion at Passchendaele Ridge, Belgium at the age of

25 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Father, Neil Campbell, Goldsmith Street, Mackay, QLD.

Religion: Presbyterian.
