Enlisted on 1 April 1916 at Mackay, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Homebush, Mackay, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

7 September 1916 with 9th  Battalion,

20th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on

Ship H.M.A.T. A46 "Clan McGillivray".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on

10 August 1918 while serving with 9th  Battalion near Corbie, France at the age of 30 years.

Burial place: Heath Cemetery, Harbonnieres, France, Portion IV, Row G, Grave No 20.
