Enlisted on 2 July 1915 at Brisbane, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Mackay, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

17 September 1915 with 11th  Light Horse Regiment, 4th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on Ship H.M.A.T. A1 "Hymettus".

Cause of Death: Died of Wounds on 19 April 1917 while serving with 11th  Light Horse Regiment at Gaza, Palestine at the age of 20 years.

Burial place: Gaza War Cemetery, Palestine; Portion XVIII, Row: F, Grave No: 2.

Religion: Roman Catholic.
