22 December 1914 with 15th  Battalion,

D Company at Melbourne, VIC on

Ship H.M.A.T. A40 "Ceramic".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 26 April 1915 while serving with 15th  Battalion at Gallipoli, Turkey at the age of 20 years.

Burial place: No known grave.
