8th  Reinforcements at Sydney, NSW on Ship A64 "Demosthenes".

Cause of Death: Died of Illness (Broncho-Pneumonia) on 19 March 1917 while serving with 49th  Battalion at No.3 New Zealand General Hospital, Codford, Wiltshire, England at the age of 20 years.

Burial place: Codford (St. Mary) Churchyard (Grave no. 82), Wiltshire, England.
