28 March 1916 with 26th  Battalion,

10th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on

Ship H.M.A.T. A73 "Commonwealth".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on

14 November 1916 while serving with

26th Battalion at Fluers, France at the age of

20 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Brother, James Coyne, Gargett, Owens Creek, Mackay, QLD.

Religion: Roman Catholic.

Notes:

He was the first cousin of David Emmett Coyne.
