Ship H.M.A.T. A55 "Kyarra".

Cause of Death: Died of Wounds on

16 October  1917 while serving with 41st  Battalion at Passchendaele Ridge, Belgium at the age of 36 years.

Burial place: Nine Elms British Cemetery, Poperinge, Belgium, Portion IV, Row C,

Grave No. 13.
