Enlisted on 18 June 1915 at Brisbane, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Sluckey Road, Clayfield, Brisbane, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

18 September 1915 with 25th Battalion,

4th Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD, on

Ship H.M.A.T. A26 " Armadale".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on

30 October  1917 while serving with 25th  Battalion in Belgium at the age of 30 years.

Burial place: Aeroplane Cemetery, Ypres, Belgium, Portion III, Row C, Grave No. 23.

Next of Kin:  Mother, Mrs. Emma Adelina Davies, Sluckey Road, Clayfield, Brisbane, QLD.
