Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on 19 September 1916 with 47th  Battalion,

5th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on Ship H.M.A.T. A49 "Seang Choon".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on

30 September  1917 while serving with

47th  Battalion at Polygon Wood, Belgium at the age of 25 years.

Burial place or Memorial: No known grave.
