5 April 1916 with 5th  Light Horse Regiment,

16th  Reinforcements at Sydney, NSW on Ship H.M.A.T. A47 "Mashobra".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on

29 September  1918 while serving with

11th  Field Artillery Brigade in battle of St. Quentin Canal, France at the age

of 25 years.

Burial place: Templeux-le-Guerard British Cemetery, France, Portion II, Row A,

Grave No. 30.
