Cause of Death: Died of Wounds on 28 June 1918 while serving with 26th Battalion in France at the age of 40 years.

Burial place or Memorial: Crouy British Cemetery, Crouy-Sur-Somme, France, Portion III, Row: C, Grave No: 17.
