Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

20 August 1915 with 11th  Light Horse Regiment, 2nd  Reinforcements at Sydney, NSW on

Ship H.M.A.T. A9 "Shropshire".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 14 July 1918 while serving with 11th  Light Horse Regiment at Gordon Valley, Palestine at the age of 36 years.

Burial place: Jerusalem War Cemetery, Palestine , Row J, Grave No. 12.
