Enlisted on 22 June 1915 at Brisbane, QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Nelson Street, Mackay, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

20 September 1915 with 26th  Battalion,

4th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on

Ship H.M.A.T. A26 " Armadale".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 6 May 1918 while serving with 26th  Battalion in France at the age of 29 years.

Burial place: Glisy Communal Cemetery, Somme, France, in SW corner.

Next of Kin:  Mother, Mrs. Susan Dunton, Nelson Street, Mackay, QLD.

Religion: Church of England.
