Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

8 August 1916 with 15th  Battalion,

19th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on Ship H.M.A.T. A50 "Itonus".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 11 April 1917 while serving with 15th  Battalion in France at the age of 21 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Father, J. Edwards, Alma Street, Rockhampton, QLD.

Religion: Roman Catholic.
