21 October 1915 with 9th  Battalion,

11th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on

Ship H.M.A.T. A48 "Seang Bee".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 5 April 1918 while serving with 49th  Battalion at Buire, France at the age of 32 years.

Burial place: No known grave.

Next of Kin:  Wife, Mrs. E. M. Edwards, care of Chairman, War Committee, Mackay, QLD.

Religion: Church of England.
