Service and Enlistment Details

Enlisted on 28 October 1915 at Enoggera QLD.

Address at Enlistment: Nelson Street, Mackay, QLD.

Embarkation Details: Embarked Overseas on

28 October 1915 with 9th Field Artillery, 36th Battery  at Sydney, NSW on Ship H.M.A.T. A8 "Argyllshire".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on 14 June 1917 while serving with 110th  Howitzer Battery, Australian Field Artillery at Messines, Belgium at the age of 21 years.

Burial place: Kandahar Farm Cemetery, Heuvelland, Belgium, Portion II, Row B,

Grave No. 17.
