5th  Reinforcements at Brisbane, QLD on

Ship H.M.A.T. A55 "Kyarra".

Cause of Death: Killed in Action on

23 February 1917 while serving with 9th  Battalion at Yarra Bank, Flers, France at the age of 25 years.

Burial place: Warlencourt British Cemetery, France, Portion II, Row A, Grave No. 29.
