| The US Army took over the Hotel
Mackay for its Officers while they where on leave in Mackay. The Hotel
was built in 1939-1940 and is in the Art Deco Style. It is still
operating as the Hotel Mackay to this day. This photograph was taken
sometime between 1942-1944.
