c. 1929 - 1930

Balzer's cordial factory was located in Gordon Street on a site now occupied by New Pioneer Motors caryard.  The Balzer family commenced the business in 1929 but were only in business for only nine months before they sold out to Waghorn and Sons on April 1, 1930.  The brand however continued to be marketed by Waghorns for a number of years afterwards.
