History

One of two Dick Kerr locomotives at Farleigh Mill in 1893. The Locomotive was transferred to Racecourse Mill around 1927. It was then sold in 1937 to Moreton Mill in Nambour and named "Valdora."  It was taken out of service and was plinthed in Nambour Lions Park in Nambour in 1964.  It was then moved to the live steam association park near the Nambour Railway Station. It was moved to the Nambour Museum where it resides today.  It is the oldest known surviving locomotive to have served in the Mackay Region.
